About the Blog:
The blog began life in October 2011, shining a light on the UK Border Agency’s secretive ‘charter flights’: large-scale deportations, via private jets, departing from unknown airports under the cover of darkness.
The posts explore British foreign policy and business interests in the countries targeted for these deportation flights.
This information supported an 18-month research project with Corporate Watch and was published as part of a 48-page report in late 2013. It provides new evidence to challenge the legality of the charter flights.
